CrossBridge Kids Children's Ministry

The goals of the CrossBridge Children's ministry are to increase Bible knowledge and concepts while creating an environment that is a welcoming and fun place for children to be and to invite their friends.

Aspects of the CrossBridge Kids Children's Ministries include:

• Nursery - Safe, pleasant, and well-staffed nurseries for our youngest children from birth to three years old.  Available during each scheduled service, these nurseries allow parents to worship, study, and serve assured that their children are receiving quality care.
   
• Baby Presentations - The CrossBridge family welcomes the birth or adoption of each baby as a gift and a trust from God.   During a presentation, we rejoice and give thanks for the presence of this new life and for God's blessing on the family and the church.  Then the family is charged to accept responsibility for the physical and spiritual nurture of the child.  The congregation is then reminded of its role in caring for and nurturing the faith of the new child.  Finally, a spiritual leader selected by the family offers a prayer of intercession and blessing for the child and the family.
   
• Children's Worship (Age 3 through 3rd grade) - Children begin their worship experience in the auditorium where they witness their parents and family read from God's word, participate in communion, and pray.  AFterwards, children are dismissed for Children's Worship.  Here they continue to praise nd worship God through song, prayer, and a brief lesson.
   
• Bible Classes - CrossBridge's children use My First Look ( 2-4 year olds) and 252 Basics (K-4th grade) for the children's curriculum.  Sunday morning classes beginning at 9:00 and Wednesday night classes beginning at 7:00 are offered.  These classes encourage the children to draw their nourishment from God and to take their beginning steps in their spiritual walk.
   
• Pre-teen (5th and 6th grade) - Fifth and sixth graders meet together on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and Wednesday nights at 7:00 for a more in-depth study of God's word focusing on personal application.  Pre-teens participate in quarterly activities which include service projects, devotionals, and social activities.
